Who are we? – ‘OneCommunityOneClub’

Location - Cheshunt Football Club is located just off the M25, putting Cheshunt FC stadium within easy reach of all of Hertfordshire, Middlesex, North London, and Essex

Facilities – We are delighted to offer an excellent range of sport & entertainment facilities: -

370-seater, 2,000-capacity Stadium with top quality grass pitch and including changing facilities and locker rooms, showers, and WCs.

Football Development Centre which consists of 16 acres of top-quality grass pitches and our full size floodlit artificial pitch.

Teams – We currently provide a safe, enjoyable, and progressive environment for more than 500 players at the club across more than 30 teams.

As a multigenerational club who ensure that everything we offer, supports our ethos of being 'One Community, One Club'.

 This is paramount to ensure that a sustainable and viable pathway for all ages, abilities, ambitions and background across all forms of football is provided at Cheshunt Football Club. This includes Men, Women, Boys, Girls, Walking Football and Disability. No group is uncatered for.

Community – We are proud that the range of social awareness programmes, alongside our community events, work experience placements and links with other local organisations support our local community and place Cheshunt Football Club at its hub.

We also provide a range of work placement opportunities for young people in the community including facility management, digital communications and ground maintenance amongst others.

History – How did we get here?

Cheshunt Football Club is 75 years old this year (2021) and has a rich footballing history, which has made if a part of the town’s heritage and culture. (A full club history can be provided)

The club today is unrecognisable to the one that we took over 10 years ago. As a company, LW Developments has invested significantly in improving the facilities which, coupled with grant funding from the Football Foundation and Sport England, has resulted in the refurbishment of the club house and function suite, renewed stadium facilities, remodelling and improving the existing grass pitches and installing a new 3G artificial pitch. This has allowed the club to grow the number of teams and community programmes and become the one of the lleading football clubs in the Borough of Broxbourne.

The club has received numerous community awards in recognition of its active role within the community. These include winning the Community Club of the Year 2017 at the Active Broxbourne Sports Awards and runners up for the Community Club of the Year Award at the Herts Sports Partnership 2017.
