The Club Today

TEAM 780 is a highly-respected scheme that operates in the community to provide football development, holiday courses, after school clubs and in school sports sessions. We have a fantastic reputation for developing young players and assisting their footballing ambitions, having helped to support over 50 players which have reached professional senior, youth and academy status. The club firmly believe that the best way to nurture talent is to provide a clear pathway to enable progression. As a result of this we offer a broad range of schemes from weekly coaching for girls and boys, in school sports coaching, development team football (U13 - U16 playing in the Junior Premier League), foreign sports tours, post 16 opportunities and most recently a pathway into the senior game with our step 7 mens side.

Aspirations

At Team 780 we are passionate about maximising the experience of Football. This is why we facilitate a wide range of coaching programmes which are centred on developing technique, touch, intelligence and speed which are all fundamental attributes for a successful Football player. The club aspire to become the best development programme available in our region. All sponsorship revenue secured through our projects will be directed toward this, allowing us to provide greater opportunities for progression both as a player and individual, regardless of age, gender or socio-economic background. As a sport Football has an immense power for positive change. As a club we want to help implement that change so that our players and wider community can benefit from it.
