Rookie Racing Training Academy

Hello and welcome to the official SNAP Sponsorship profile of Rookie Racing Training Academy.

We're delighted to announce that we’ve now partnered with SNAP Sponsorship and we’re looking for sponsors who are excited about affiliating themselves with a growing karting academy with big ambitions, a strong social media following and plenty of talent.

We strive to craft a partnership with our sponsors that meets their specific objectives, whether that be community gifting, social responsibility (CSR), direct sales or brand building.

We’ll work with you to develop a partnership which meets both your objectives and adds value to our members — supporting our club’s ongoing work in the community to remove barriers and make sport enjoyable, accessible and sustainable for all.

Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us?

Want to sponsor a future champion?

We work with total beginners through to children racing in British championships. Contrary to popular belief, kart racing is one of the most physically and mentally demanding sports you can partake. Your mind and body must be perfectly in-sync, making quick decisions in order to perform an optimum drive. This, like so many other things in life, comes with hard work, dedication and training.

Rookie Racing was founded with one mission; to help aspiring young racers get onto the track, armed with the skills and techniques to deliver a drive that will get them to the podiums. Our go-kart training academy based at Fulbeck Kart Club and PF International is run by a team of expert trainers and professional mechanics and we work with racers to constantly refine and perfect their technique, month after month, race after race. We also formulate fitness regimes for racers to carry out at home, karting requires a huge amount of upper body strength and this must be worked on in between race and academy days.

Rookie Racing now have a young mentor scheme where a few professional racers work with around 7 or 8 different drivers over the day this is as well as everyone coming together for classroom sessions and a morning track walk. We’re now looking for sponsors for some of our more promising youths to take them through to professional level.

Rookie Racing has an array of sponsorship opportunities which can be tailored to meet your objectives. Through sponsorship, our academy will promote your company in a wide variety of ways enriching the profile of your business in our community.

Our business model is unique

One of the main reasons that Rookie Racing Training Academy was founded in 2015 was to make the sport more accessible because in order to race, people are expected to buy a kart and all of the equipment outright before even knowing whether they truly enjoy the sport.

We didn’t think this was fair so we offer an exclusive ‘try before you buy’ scheme whereby we provide full kart hire until people are sure they want to commit to the investment. When people are ready to buy, we’re then on-hand to provide expert advice on the most suitable kart and we even provide used karts for sale.

By providing this scheme, more young people can get involved in this alternative sport. In addition to wellbeing and the physical benefits of racing, there are also valuable life skills and lessons young people can learn including practising persistence, meeting new friends and boosting confidence.

We’d love for you to get involved and see the positive impact karting can have on young racers.

Remove economic barriers making sport affordable and accessible for all

Sponsorship of a grassroots sport delivers a much higher return on investment than traditional advertising. This is because sponsorship allows your business to become directly involved in activities that are highly valued by local consumers.

Consumers are known to form strong positive associations with sponsors who support the development of grassroots sport and contribute to the local community. With eight out of ten consumers preferring to believe in what a company does rather than what it says, it’s easy to see why many businesses are choosing to sponsor racing academies like ours as a way of maximising their marketing return.

By directly supporting us, you’re helping to remove economic barriers — making karting affordable, accessible and inclusive for all.

About Rookie Racing

Every champion started as a rookie

Rookie Racing was founded with one mission; to help aspiring young racers get onto the track, armed with the skills and techniques to deliver a drive that will get them to the podiums. Our go-kart training academy based at Fulbeck Kart Club and PF International is run by a team of expert trainers, professional mechanics and passionate racers.

Around 50 children a month attend our academy, however we have hundreds of people attend the track weekly and we also hold around 35 travelling Championships per year whereby we'll have attendances of 300-400 people.

Our monthly meetings are dedicated to hands-on training, getting young drivers into the kart, trying new techniques and educating them on the rules and regulations of kart racing. Of course, our biggest priority is driver safety so we’ll give a full safety briefing before each session. When the big racing days arrive our team is available to help out, advise and coach, re-capping on everything that was taught at training. We’re also present at Fulbeck’s Sprint Series monthly club meetings, on-hand to support drivers.

For total beginners we have karts to hire on the academy days to test the water before any big purchases are made. We also offer full support to parents and/or guardians on things like kart purchase, set-up and safety.

Our services:

  • Beginner training on driving and kart set up
  • Driver training
  • ARKS racing license tuition
  • Transition from Bambino to Cadet
  • Transition from Cadets to Juniors
  • Full support to parents/guardians
  • Safety tuition to get the most out of racing
  • Experienced advice on racing classes, equipment and kart purchase
  • Morning Practice and Afternoon Racing with lots of track time, trophies and medals also awarded
  • Kart Hire

Our History

Rookie Racing was founded in 2015 after founder Paul Gallagher’s son wanted to start karting but found the sport to be inaccessible, unaffordable and surrounded by misinformation. Karting can be expensive as you’re often expected to buy your own kart, all of your equipment and kit — spending thousands of pounds before you even know whether you truly enjoy the sport!

Paul wanted to set up a safe place where young people could train, could hire kit and equipment until they’re sure they want to invest, and where they could access expert information in all areas of karting. Hence, Rookie Racing was born!

Aspirations

Our model is a successful one and as a consequence; we’ve received numerous requests to run Rookie Racing academies all over the UK. We have ambitious plans to continue to develop and grow and this will involve increasing the number of Rookie Racing venues through licensing over the coming years.

Naturally, we want to support our sponsors and build them in on a strategic level — allowing all of our partners to benefit from our ever-improving facilities, expanding audience and our community involvement.
