Why West Essex Cricket Club

We believe sponsorship of our club will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or for the love of the club.

Why Sponsor Us
Audience: West Essex CC boasts a growing membership in excess of 150 . Through our extensive in-person marketing footprint, including our football section, we can provide your business with the opportunity to build brand-loyalty within our local area of Highams Park, Chingford and Walthamstow.
Facilities: Our clubhouse is in the process of being rebuilt so we are currently without a social area at this time, but within the next couple of years we will have a brand new 'home' with bar, kitchen, social space and changing rooms, all very exciting to any new sponsors we partner within the coming years.
Also the cricket club has ambition to build a new nets facility, purchase roll on covers and purchase new sightscreens all of which would offer sponsorship opportunities. Just these 3 items will amount to an investment of £30k on top of grants we already have ring fenced.
Digital: West Essex CC boasts circa 78,000 media impressions annual across our digital channels, providing extensive reach and awareness for any of our partners. We provide integration with these channels and can target specific target audiences based on your objectives.
The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from but are not limited to:
- Logo & link on social media posts and websites pages, to an audience of 500,000 annually
- physical advertisement on club assets, providing exposure to all individuals annually and building loyalty with our 150+ members.
- Opportunities to advertise at club events, to an audience wider than our existing membership base
- Captive audience of club members for exclusive business promotions, driving top-line sales
- CSR Opportunities through our involvement with our local charity partners
- Use of cricket facilities for T20 evening games for your work teams and clients.
Alternative/supplementary perks can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of sponsor commitment, budget and your business objectives.
We are committed to giving you and your company the exposure and promotion you deserve. We recognise that without your support many of our club members would not be enjoying their sport at the weekend!
We are a friendly, multi-ethnic club with an open membership policy that was granted Community Amateur Sports Club status in 2014. We are a club run by volunteers and encourage all members to find ways other than playing to contribute to the club. We have an active social scene and welcome all members to attend our regular social events.
Throughout the club, West Essex CC ideals reflect sports core values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.
Whilst we are ambitious, we also have a strong family ethos, derived from a commitment to youth sport for all age groups from 5 to 15. Furthermore, the club continues to develop strong links with local charities and foodbanks.
All this is underwritten by a diverse sponsor base, at a variety of different levels, which aids the club’s financial stability and adds value to our audience.
Sponsorship is key to us achieving our aspirations as a cricket club and to being a valuable asset to our local community. We aim to improve and increase our facilities over the next 3 to 5 years to make us the cricket club of choice for players , junior members and parents in Waltham Forest. We aim to increase numbers on our ECB junior programmes, increase the number of qualified coaches, build a net facility, relay our cricket square and become more succesful on the field in that time. We want to introduce Summer Cricket Camps for kids, provide more kit and equipment, increase opportunities for girls to participate in cricket and offer bursaries for less fortunate children who want to join a sports club.
We want to support our sponsors and invite them in to our club on a strategic level, allowing any partner to benefit from our ever-improving facilities, expanding audience and our community involvement.
West Essex Cricket Club was formed in 1921, are members of The Hamro Foundation Essex League and are also affiliated to the Metropolitan Essex District Cricket Board and Essex Cricket in the Community.
