Bournemouth Rugby are one of the largest Rugby clubs on the south coast of England. We are proud to have 31 teams across different abilities, ages and genders. We are an extremely sociable club and promote inclusivity above all else, firmly believing that Rugby should be a sport available to everyone!

Aspirations
Bournemouth Rugby sole purpose is to continue to grow and promote the sport for all. We have a personal ambition to own our premises to enable the expansion of the club and its membership base, which will offer increased playing opportunities. This season the 2nd XV have been entered into the league structure ensuring more consistent rugby across the season and a pathway for senior player development.
History
Bournemouth Rugby is a Rugby Union club and was founded in 1893. The grounds are currently located at Chapel Gate within the Bournemouth University Sport Campus. Bournemouth Rugby has teams from the age of 5 to 18, sessions for children aged 2 to 5, senior men's and ladies teams, touch teams, Girls team and wheelchair rugby team for adults and youth.
Bournemouth Rugby are very proud to be the highest level club on the south coast for Rugby:
1st XV - Regional 1 South Central (formerly level 5)
2nd XV - Counties 1 Hampshire (formerly level 6)
3rd XV - Counties 2 Dorset and Wilts South (formerly level 7)
4th XV - Awaiting conformation for the coming season on League
