We're delighted to announce that we’ve now partnered with SNAP Sponsorship and we’re looking for sponsors who are excited about affiliating themselves with a large Merseyside grassroots cricket club with many players and supporters and a strong social media following.

We strive to craft a partnership with our sponsors that meets their specific objectives, whether that be community gifting, social responsibility (CSR), direct sales or brand building.

We’ll work with you to develop a partnership which meets both your objectives and adds value to NBCC's members — supporting our club’s ongoing work in the community to remove barriers and make sport enjoyable, accessible and sustainable for all.

Whatever your motivation, find out more below!

The Club Today

Established in 1856, the club are founder members of the Liverpool and District Cricket Competition (LDCC), which spans across North Wales, Manchester and Lancashire! The LDCC is an ECB Premier League which is the highest standard of club cricket in the UK. In the last 50 years NBCC has been incredibly successful, winning over 30 league titles and cups.

Our vision, is to be the best club to play, watch and learn cricket. Our purpose is to create stories, friendships and memories which last a lifetime. We are underpinned by three fundamental beliefs;

  1. We believe pride in our history can inspire our sustainable future
  2. We believe in creating an inclusive, fun and family friendly environment
  3. We believe we can develop our own talent via the best facilities and infrastructure

The club operates four teams on a Saturday and one team on a Sunday, providing cricket for all abilities. Our Saturday teams all play in the L&DCC with our 1st XI being in the ECB Premier League. Our 2nd XI and three 3rd XI teams (x2 Saturday, x1 Sunday) all play in the First Division.

Our 1st, 2nd and Sunday 3rd XIs all play at our main ground, Rake Lane, Wallasey CH45 5DE with our two Saturday 3rd XIs playing at our Wayfarers ground, Upton Road, Bidston, Birkenhead CH43 7QE.

Our senior teams play in various cup competitions with our 1st XI playing in the Royal London Club Championship and the NatWest Club T20 national cup competitions and also the Cheshire Cup. Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd XIs all play in their relative Love Lane L&DCC cup competitions as do our Under 16s and Under 21s XIs. Our Under 19s XI play in the NatWest U19 T20 national cup competition.

Our thriving Junior Section provides structured coaching. We employ qualified coaches to ensure our juniors can reach their potential and enjoy their cricket in a safe and professional environment. We run a team in each age group from Under 9s to Under 17s, playing in various leagues and cups. We aim to recruit, retain and develop junior cricketers via:

  1. Engaging as many young players as possible through being a welcoming, inclusive and fun club
  2. Always operating in a safe environment
  3. Providing an effective pathway for junior cricketers to transition to senior cricket via coaching, infrastructure and facilities

We are also committed to growing the female game, with NBCC's women and girls playing for our Women's Softball Cricket Section, founded in 2022.

Our club has significant local footfall due to the hiring of our function room. In addition we receive significant media coverage due to the standard of overseas players. In recent years we have had international cricketers such as Jesse Ryder (New Zealand), Pite Van Biljon (South Africa) and Chartitha Buddhika (Sri Lanka) play for NBCC.

Future Aspirations

Since our formation, New Brighton Cricket Club have made a significant impact on the lives of our members as well as those within our community. Playing the highest level of amateur Cricket in the UK, NBCC are ever expanding - we want to take what we have built and proceed to the next level. Sponsorship of our club will provide us with the support to achieve that. Through commercial partnerships, we can proceed to establish ourselves in the following areas:

  1. Ambitious plans to continue developing the infrastructure at NBCC, maintaining our high-profile role within the local community.
  2. Create exciting new pathways to promote NBCC to potential members.
  3. Allow our sponsors to benefit from our ever-improving facilities, expanding audience and community involvement.

Our partners and sponsors are a critical part of our family, helping us to achieve our vision on and off the pitch by supporting the upkeep of our coaching, training and playing facilities for all of our members. Sponsorship will be at the heart of our operations with New Brighton Cricket Club endeavouring to promote your business with the same level of drive, commitment and passion we retain for our own services.

Together, we can produce lasting, successful relationships that will provide mutually beneficial returns for both your organisation and our own, affecting our members, local community and future for the better.
