Spennymoor Town Ladies Development Team are a team looking to provide opportunities to young players in adults football. 

We are recently formed entering our second season having won the Durham women's league 3 in our first season.

Whilst we are an open aged team, we are primarily focused on proving opportunities for young players to make their way into adults football at an age where many girls stop playing.

As a result of this the majority of our players are under 20 years old and had their first season in adults football last year.

We are based in a competitive North East football region and are striving to provide the best experience possible to keep girls in the sport and enhance their development both on and off the pitch
