Jordan Dunne
Jordan Dunne Coaching is a performance coaching and fitness community focused on helping people become fitter, stronger and more confident in what they're capable of.
I offer 1-1 in-person coaching, online coaching and hybrid coaching, alongside strength & conditioning, running coaching and athlete development.
I work with people of all abilities, from those taking their first steps into training through to competitive athletes. My athlete development work spans a range of sports, including rugby, running, track & field, swimming, pentathlon and biathlon. I also coach junior athletes competing at GB level in pentathlon and biathlon, national-level swimmers and high-level track athletes, with the focus always on developing strength, speed, power, movement quality and overall athletic performance to support the demands of their sport.
Alongside my coaching, I also run the Jordan Dunne Run Club (JDRC), which has grown into a brilliant local running community in Basingstoke. We have coached interval sessions every Tuesday for £5 per session, designed to help runners develop their speed, endurance and overall running performance.
Every Sunday we also have our free JDRC social run, starting at 8:30am from The Coffee Barn in Basingstoke. These runs are open to different abilities and are as much about bringing people together and building a community around running as they are about the training itself.
Ultimately, my approach to coaching is about more than simply making people work hard. I want people to understand their training, develop confidence in themselves and their abilities, and make progress that carries over into their sport and everyday life.
What are we looking for?
At Jordan Dunne Coaching, I'm looking to build genuine relationships with local athletes, sports clubs and the wider community.
Through sponsorship, I want to support athletes in their development while also creating opportunities for people to access quality strength & conditioning, running and performance coaching.
I'm particularly interested in working with ambitious athletes who want to develop both physically and personally, as well as building long-term relationships with clubs and organisations that share similar values around performance, development and community.
Our objectives
The objective of Jordan Dunne Coaching is to continue developing a strong coaching and sporting community within Basingstoke and the surrounding areas.
I want to provide a pathway where people can access high-quality coaching regardless of whether they're starting their fitness journey, looking to improve their running or competing at a high level within their sport.
From developing junior and senior athletes through strength & conditioning and performance coaching, to growing the Jordan Dunne Run Club and creating accessible coached running sessions, the long-term goal is to help more people train with purpose, improve their performance and enjoy being part of a positive sporting community.
