Penrith RUFC is a strong, community focused club with players ranging from age 6 through to senior men’s and ladies’ teams. 

We field teams across all age groups, and we are proud to have players who have progressed through the club to county, professional and international rugby.

Penrith RUFC is run almost entirely by dedicated volunteers who give countless hours to ensure training sessions, matches and events can take place. In some areas, particularly within the girls’ game, age groups are often combined to allow teams to compete, bringing additional challenges that our players and coaches continue to meet with commitment and resilience.

We are passionate about keeping young people involved in rugby for life, particularly as many drop out of sport during their teenage years. As the club grows, so do the costs, with subscriptions alone not covering essential expenses such as kit, equipment, facilities and travel, some matches are two hours away!

In return for support sponsors receive inclusion across our social media and website, clubhouse television, opportunities for team photo shoots, and the knowledge that they are making a meaningful contribution to grassroots sport in the local community.
