About Us
With the end of Great Britain’s full-time sevens program, players no longer have contracts or consistent international opportunities outside the World SVNS Series. This has left many former GB7s stars and rising talents without a pathway to compete at the highest level.
This September, we’re raising funds to send 14 former GB7s players and top athletes from the LIT Super Sevens Series to a major international tournament in Fiji — competing as LIT United Kingdom 7s against world-class teams like New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji.
This isn’t just about one tournament. It’s about keeping the GB7s legacy alive, supporting player careers, and providing a platform for the next generation of 7s stars.
Your support will cover: flights, accommodation, kit, and tournament costs — ensuring our players can compete and gain invaluable international experience.
Meet Our Captain – Abbie Brown
Abbie is a two-time Olympian (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020), Commonwealth Games medalist, and former England & GB7s captain. With nearly a decade of international leadership, she’ll unite experienced GB7s players and future stars from the LIT Super Sevens Series.
The Team & Coaches
Confirmed players include Abbie Brown, Eloise Hayward, Charlotte Woodman, Seren Singleton, Courtney Greenway, and Emma Hennessy — with additional rising stars nominated by elite LIT Super Sevens teams. Coaches and staff include Simon Hunt (England 7s), Will Broderick (former GB7s assistant coach), and Matt Stagg (former GB7s S&C coach).
About Us
LIT7s has grown rugby sevens in the UK for 13+ years, running Europe’s largest series, the LIT Super Sevens Series, where many elite players compete.
