About us:

Coldlands Colts Football Club

Hello and welcome to the official SNAP Sponsorship profile of Coldlands Colts FC.

We're delighted to announce that we’ve now partnered with SNAP Sponsorship and we’re looking for sponsors who are excited about affiliating themselves with a successful grassroots junior football club in Solihull, West Midlands. We are a Charter Standard club with a number of teams from ages 5 to 18, which play in the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League.

We strive to craft a partnership with our sponsors that meets their specific objectives, whether that be community gifting, social responsibility (CSR), direct sales or brand building.

Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us?

In order to continually improve our facilities for the local community and drive the club forward, we’re keen to build relationships with new and exciting businesses who wish to align themselves with our club ethos and help make a positive impact in the local community. We would like to work alongside you to explore opportunities and mutual benefits.

Early brand adoption and increased brand awareness in our community

Sponsoring our junior football club will undoubtedly put your brand in a favourable light and help you to gain an edge over your competitors as championing young people in the local area can be an incredibly valuable investment in your business’s future as well as the young athletes.

When local businesses support young people in sports, they demonstrate a commitment to the wellbeing of their community. This investment not only fosters a sense of pride and unity among residents but also encourages increased community engagement and collaboration.

Not to mention the benefits of early brand adoption. The young players that benefit from a brand’s sponsorship will always remember that brand’s belief in them. By connecting with those athletes at a young age, the brand can build loyalty and credibility that will last a lifetime.

Similarly, the parents of those young players will undoubtedly come to favour the brand that helped make their youngsters feel championed, too. Sponsorship of a youth football club is one of the most direct ways to tap into your chosen market. You can build valuable relationships with existing customers and reach out to potential new ones at the same time and by establishing connections with other local businesses, community organisations and influential individuals, these relationships can lead to new business opportunities, collaborations and strategic partnerships.

Coldlands Colts FC has an array of sponsorship opportunities which can be tailored to meet your objectives. Through sponsorship, our club will promote your company in a wide variety of ways enriching the profile of your business in our community.

Helping to develop a sense of pride and the best opportunities to flourish

Young people grow up idolising their favourite sports people in their chosen field, and they see that those superstars are sponsored by big brands who want to champion their efforts.

When they receive similar sponsorship for their own sporting efforts, they feel the pride of knowing that someone believes in them enough to invest in their future, re-affirming their belief that maybe one day, they can be as successful as their big-name heroes.

It can also help a team bond – their shared pride in representing a sponsor can help motivate the team to train hard and make their sponsors proud.

Sponsoring junior teams also lifts some of the financial burdens that might be associated with practising and participating in sports off parents’ shoulders. In turn, this allows the children to focus on doing what they love – playing their chosen sport, training hard and having a great kit makes the children feel like mini-professionals.

Sponsorship will allow Coldlands Colts FC to provide high-quality sportswear, equipment and facilities for their young players. When the children feel like they’re being taken seriously and are being invested in, their confidence blooms and their talent grows.

Participation in sports improves self-esteem, mental discipline and social skills

Engaging in sports from a young age has numerous physical health benefits, including the development of strength, flexibility and endurance. Regular physical activity also helps maintain a healthy weight and reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Sponsorship ensures that our children have access to essential kit, equipment and modern facilities, allowing them to participate in organised sports and reap the associated health benefits.

Participating in sports has been proven to improve mental health by reducing stress, anxiety and depression while increasing self-esteem and self-confidence. Through sponsorship, companies can help provide young athletes with the necessary support to develop their mental well-being and build resilience in the face of challenges.

In addition to wellbeing and the physical benefits of sports, there are also valuable life skills and lessons young people can learn including manners, respect and boundaries; practising persistence, meeting new friends and boosting confidence. Sports also offer an opportunity for young people to develop essential social skills and learn the value of teamwork, communication and cooperation. By sponsoring a youth football club such as ours, companies can contribute to fostering these qualities in young athletes, which will serve them well in their future personal and professional lives.

The Club Today

Coldlands Colts FC are a Birmingham FA affiliated grassroots football club offering many opportunities for junior grassroots football in Solihull.

We are a Charter Standard club with a number of junior grassroots football teams from ages 5 to 18, which play in the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League.

Our grounds are leased from Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council – the lease expires in 2032. The grounds currently accommodate two eleven-a-side pitches and three small-sided pitches, with associated on-site car parking. There is a clubhouse providing changing facilities for players and officials, a snack bar, first aid room and a lounge overlooking the football pitches. We have large-scale redevelopment plans in the pipeline which will include a new clubhouse and 4G arena, please see below for details.

We are a warm and welcoming club with a focus on the community and we offer a safe, family-friendly environment, support from FA qualified coaches and access to excellent facilities.

Our Club History

Coldlands Colts are an independent junior football club. The Solihull based club was founded by local parents in the summer of 1982 where its life began as a single team operation on the field within Coldlands Colts Woods.

In 1989, as its reputation and popularity grew, Coldlands Colts FC moved to its own ground with aid from the Sports Council and a large contribution from its own members. Over the following 33 years the club has grown into one of the largest independent junior football clubs in the West Midlands with 175 children in 16 teams, playing in the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League.

The club has approximately 40 volunteers (coaches and committee) and has a strong and bright future providing local children aged 5 to 18 with access to grassroots sport. To date, tens of thousands of children have passed through the club, many now second generation.

Aspirations

With membership and crowd attendances rising, we have ambitious plans to continue to develop the infrastructure at the club and grow our teams.

Subject to the approval of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and obtaining the required investment, we have a large ground development plan in the pipeline – hopefully fully supported by SMBC by way of a grant.

This will involve redeveloping the current ground to a 4G playing arena (two full-size FA standard pitches) to enable all year round usage with the addition of floodlights to support night time usage (until 10pm) and spectator viewing areas around the pitches (at ground level).

We would then demolish our current clubhouse and rebuild it with:

  • Improved changing and showering facilities for male, female and disabled users.
  • Dining area for visitors and spectators, including a bar area.
  • Kitchen area (including appliances) to provide hot and cold food.
  • Outside dining and drinking area.
  • Office space.
  • Solar power generation.
  • Reception area with access barriers.
  • Internal and external security and alarm system.
  • Maintenance storage area connected to the main building.
  • Redesigned car park and entrance area to provide improved parking facilities, clearer and safer entry and exit – adding better access and disabled parking spaces.
  • Relocated ground entrance to Lugtrout Lane.
  • Exterior fencing and gated entrance to provide adequate security for visitors and during non-operational hours.
  • Clearance of exterior trees to prevent surface damage to 4G arena.
  • Refuse area.

Naturally, we want to support our sponsors, keep them updated on our redevelopment plans and build them in to our club on a strategic level – allowing all of our partners to benefit from our ever-improving facilities, expanding audience and our community involvement.
