About us:

Welcome to the official SNAP profile of Clyde FC Community Foundation.

Who Are We?

As a club currently without a home, Clyde Football Club's official charity, the Clyde FC Community Foundation is in a unique position of working across multiple areas of Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire, often in areas which are high on the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD). As such, we hear from young people, parents, teachers, venues and others about the need which exists in these areas, in relation to access to sports, healthy lifestyles and educational outcomes.

The Foundation's programmes on areas such as mental health (through the Clyde United mental health team), isolation and loneliness (at our Sporting Memories Club) and in schools such as our innovative 'Talking Football' football and literacy programmes and free after school clubs provide significant positive benefit to a wide range of people and we aim to expand these outcomes over the coming years.

In the community sports space, we provide high quality coaching for three youth teams which are connected to Clyde Football Club through shared kits and opportunities for ball boy activities and more.

How does SNAP deliver more value to you?

Sponsoring through SNAP provides you with significant value. Being on SNAP gives us access to expert guidance and unique activations. This in turn will maximise your return on objectives, and investment. For over a decade SNAP has supported grassroots, local and regional sports across the UK by facilitating mutually beneficial partnerships between businesses and clubs to benefit companies, communities and the economy. We welcome any opportunity to discuss how we can replicate this success with you.

Why is sponsorship important?

In an increasingly difficult funding environment we are, like many charities, aware of the difficulties of providing services and funding them. Whereas in years gone by, we may have thought nothing of organisations paying us to deliver sessions or individuals paying their own way at some, it's increasingly clear that this is simply not happening and this is particularly apparent in areas of deprivation.

We are are looking for sponsorship to give the Foundation the ability to offer services to schools, youth groups, individuals and communities who cannot afford to access services and the positive outcomes which come along with these, as well as supporting our existing community teams.

Sponsorship offers critical financial support, allowing us to cover expenses and support our growth initiatives.

Additionally, sponsorship fosters a sense of community, linking your company with our network to meet your commercial objectives. By sponsoring us your business will benefit from enhanced brand recognition, giving you the opportunity to connect with our audience and promote your products, services, and experiences. Please refer to our Sponsorship Opportunities for additional details.

What will your investment enable?

Through sponsorship you will support the following objectives:

  1. To kit out our existing community football teams with kits and equipment to foster a sense of identity and pride when representing the club.
  2. To create new community football teams, targeted at areas of deprivation and other forms of need.
  3. To sponsor schools and community programmes, allowing for provision which is free at the point of access for those who face the most barriers.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
