About us:

St Ives & Warboys Cricket Club

We are a community cricket club based in Cambridgeshire, run by volunteers with a vision of providing affordable cricket to everyone regardless of age or ability.

As a club, we believe in promoting a culture of fair play and developing our adults and juniors to be the best they can.

With an ever growing junior section we are aiming to give them even more opportunities and includes encouraging young people of the benefits of sport and exercise, helping them create a lifelong affiliation with the game through positive experiences. We also have an ambition to include disability cricket and encourage more female players into the sport.

We run 5 senior weekend teams and have an amazing junior section that provides training starting from the age of 5 through our fantastic volunteer coaches.

Club Vision

Our vision is to create a ‘Cricket for All’ culture and develop local players to compete at the highest level they can, but also to provide appropriate levels of affordable and fun cricket regardless of ability.

We are one of the most progressive and ambitious cricket clubs in the area with fantastic facilities across two sites in St Ives and Warboys.

Ambitions

To enable us to achive our vision of creating a 'Cricket for All' culture,  we have set ourselves ambitious plans. This includes;

  1. Investment in our volunteers and encouragement for others to become volunteers
  2. Improvement in our facilities and ability to cater for increased numbers
  3. Introduction of disability cricket
  4. Increasing the number of girl/female participation
  5. Building further relationships within the local community
  6. Running of community based events for the wider community
  7. Assisting those through financial support who would otherwise not be able to participate
  8. Developing our young members with sport and life skills

Why Sponsor Us?

We look at sponsorship as more of a long term partnership that benefits both parties equally.

Such relationships support us as a club in achieving our aims, and also benefits the wider community.

You would be a integral part of the clubs future, and in return would be get great coverage across all our social media sites, regular news articles and of course promotion to all of our members, families, friends and all the other community groups we work with.

You really can make a significant impact and have sponsorship opportunities to suit all budgets.
