Who Are We?

Welcome to Mawdesley Cricket Club, whether you are a visiting team, new prospective senior or junior players or someone just interested in finding out what we do or what we have to offer. We try to cater for everyone who has interest in cricket, either watching or playing. We have three senior teams that play in the Northern Premier Cricket League & Moore and Smalley Palace Shield, a ladies team that plays in the Liverpool Comp and junior sides from Under 9’s to Under 18’s that play in the Liverpool Comp’s Southport and District Junior Cricket League and Palace Shield.

In 2021 we launched our own Cricket Academy known as the ‘Chorley and West Lancashire Cricket Academy’ as a social enterprise which provides year round professional coaching to Junior players.
