About us:

Welcome to the official SNAP profile of Greetland Cricket Club.

Who Are We?

Established in 1895, Greetland Cricket Club is a cornerstone of the West Vale community in Halifax, West Yorkshire. As a founding member of the Halifax Cricket League, we’ve proudly secured 15 league titles, with our most recent championship coming in 2022, a testament to our ongoing ambition and competitive spirit.

We currently run three senior teams, providing playing opportunities for a wide range of abilities and ensuring strong representation across local competitions. Our home ground on Saddleworth Road boasts a rich history and serves as a hub for both cricket and community events. With a well-maintained grass pitch and a welcoming clubhouse, we offer a friendly, inclusive environment for players, families, and supporters alike.

While we do not currently operate our own youth section, we are proud to support King Cross Juniors by offering them access to our ground and facilities while they are without a home ground. This partnership not only strengthens local cricket but also acts as a feeder pathway into our senior teams. We are committed to launching our own youth setup in the near future to help develop the next generation of cricketers in Greetland.

Sponsorship is vital to our mission. Partnering with us means investing in the future of local cricket and gaining visibility within a passionate and growing community. We offer tailored sponsorship packages, including branding opportunities on kits, signage, and digital platforms, to ensure our partners receive meaningful exposure and recognition.

Join us in shaping the future of cricket in Greetland. Together, we can continue to build a vibrant, inclusive, and successful club for generations to come.

How does SNAP deliver more value to you?

Sponsoring through SNAP provides you with significant value. Being on SNAP gives us access to expert guidance and unique activations. This in turn will maximise your return on objectives, and investment. For over a decade SNAP has supported grassroots, local and regional sports across the UK by facilitating mutually beneficial partnerships between businesses and clubs to benefit companies, communities and the economy. We welcome any opportunity to discuss how we can replicate this success with you.

Why is sponsorship important?

Sponsorship offers critical financial support, allowing us to cover expenses and support our growth initiatives. Additionally, sponsorship fosters a sense of community, linking your company with our network to meet your commercial objectives. By sponsoring us your business will benefit from enhanced brand recognition, giving you the opportunity to connect with our audience and promote your products, services, and experiences. Please refer to our Sponsorship Opportunities for additional details.

What will your investment enable?

Through sponsorship you will support the following objectives:

  1. Improving Club Facilities for All

Your support will help us upgrade essential equipment and develop our home ground, creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for players, families, and supporters from all backgrounds.

  2. Establishing and Supporting Junior Cricket Development.
Sponsorship will help us support a junior team without a current home and lay the foundations for our own junior section—offering young people from ethnic minority backgrounds structured opportunities to play, grow, and thrive through cricket.

  3. Creating Pathways and Participation Opportunities.
With your investment, we aim to increase participation, reduce financial barriers for players, and provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership roles strengthening community ties and nurturing talent on and off the pitch.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
