Cambourne Cricket Club

Hello and welcome to the official SNAP Sponsorship profile of Cambourne Cricket Club. Situated in the picturesque village of Cambourne, a short distance from Cambridge, our club represents a focal point for the community to provide sport and recreational facilities. The club is delighted to announce that we have now partnered with SNAP to promote our sponsorship projects, connect with local businesses and secure essential revenue to aid our development further.

Why Sponsor Us?

Here are three reasons why you should sponsor Cambourne Cricket Club!

Major Networking Potential

Cambourne Cricket Club has over 150 playing members that range from senior to juniors. Sponsorship of our club would ensure that your business is able to connect their services to our network of potential clients within our membership base.

Increased Brand Awareness

Cambourne Cricket Club has state of the art facilities which could be used as advertising assets. Sponsorship of our club would enable your business to receive a significant increase in brand awareness and consideration towards future customers.

Local Area Development

Cambourne Cricket Club has a proud history of working with the local area. Sponsorship of our club would allow your business to be represented at the forefront of our operations, improving the experience of our members and wider community.

Please notify the club if there are any sponsorship opportunities which are not currently present on our SNAP profile. To register your interest in any of our packages please contact our page or an official club representative directly.

The Club Today

Cambourne Cricket Club has grown considerably since our formation nearly two decades ago. Here is where our club is today thanks to the hard work from our membership base.

Members & Teams

The club has an annual subscription of over 150 playing members per season, made up of 75 seniors and 75 juniors. From a squad perspective the club is extremely fortunate to have over six senior teams, six youth sides that range from U11 to U19 and two female-only sides. The club has two separate grounds based in Lower and Upper Cambourne, which allows us to accommodate this mass infrastructure of Cricketers.

Youth Development

The club is aware that youth development is the key to sustaining our success. By following this model our club will ensure we continue to produce quality Cricketers who enjoy the game above all else. To facilitate these operations the club has partnered with official ECB programmes such as Dynamos and All Stars Cricket which help us introduce the next generation to our sport.

Charity Support

The club is proud to use our influence and power to partner with official charity organisations to ensure that we do all we can to support important causes. At present our club is partnered with The MindEd Trust. The charity focuses on the prevention of mental illness in young people and early intervention strategies for those experiencing trauma. Further information on this fantastic cause can be found here: https://www.themindedtrust.org/

Community Engagement

The club acts as a sport and recreational base for the community of Cambourne. Our venue is regularly used to host clubs, fitness sessions and even religious practices. However, we have not stopped there. This year we are excited to confirm that the inaugural CAMBFEST is scheduled for Sunday 18th September. This amazing festival will showcase the world renowned British Soul group The Real Thing, other supporting acts, a fun fair and children’s entertainment. Aspirations

Cambourne Cricket Club has great ambitions for the future. Our long-term plan is to advance through the leagues until we have reached the highest standard possible. Our external work is of equal importance which is why we want to ensure our club is the most accessible and inclusive provider of Cricket within our region, enabling individuals to join the sport – regardless of age, ability, gender, race or socio-economic background. The club is keen to build upon its recent successes and, as we transition to a fully-fledged Town sports club, we aim to invest into our Club infrastructure and become a true community hub for our players, their families and the wider Cambourne community.

History

Cambourne Cricket Club was established in 2003. After new developments had been built in the area a group of Cricket enthusiasts contacted the local council to request that the local field be converted into a Cricket facility. The council, understanding the potential for success and growth, complied with this application. Cambourne Cricket Club was formed soon after.
