We are the only Dorset side that plays in an accredited ECB Premier League, the Southern Premier League, within which our First Eleven competes in the premier division, the highest league available to amateur cricketers in the country. Playing at this elite level allows our cricket club unrivaled media coverage within Dorset and Hampshire.
As a club, we offer good competitive cricket at a level to suit players of every ability. The unique blend of professionalism and inclusivity we offer allows us an unparalleled six adult sides playing across the spectrum of league cricket on Saturdays, two adult evening League teams on Wednesdays, and a family-oriented T25 side that plays Sundays.

For our best and keenest cricketers, we operate our much-vaunted Academy System that offers young players a pathway towards Premier League cricket and beyond.

Over the course of the summer, we entertain over 1000 adult cricketers playing at Bournemouth cricket club. Our dedicated social media team is growing Bournemouth cricket exponentially on multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and Tiktok, allowing significant impressions from content Locally, Nationally, and Internationally. In addition to embracing new media streams, we are also heavily featured weekly in the local Bournemouth Daily Echo, which has a readership circulation of 10,500 daily. Today at Bournemouth Cricket Club

Bournemouth Cricket is leading the way locally by offering the highest level of Cricket in Dorset and offering something for everyone.

Our Colts section is growing due to the coaching and enjoyment that we offer every session and matches to suit all levels.  We are in the process of offering taster sessions in schools and in conjunction with the Dorset Cricket Board, we are trying to invest in a Regeneration area of Bournemouth by providing coaching in the community.

Our Ladies Softball section is expanding at a good rate and the coaching has been expanded to cover this section.  Initially set up as a small group of ladies only a couple of years ago, it has now expanded to over 20 lady members and often entering 2 teams in local Cricket Board competitions, with a few ladies playing hardball cricket.

Our band of volunteers works tirelessly to strive towards our goals and this is why we now need a little help to get us to the last part of our targets.

Bournemouth CC has set ourselves high but attainable goals with the support of our members and community committed to achieving our targets.

1. Continue to invest in the development of our colts and adults.

2.Invest time and effort to take cricket into mainstream state schools.

3. Expand our environment to make cricket a sport for all.

4. Improve links to the local community and enhance our role.

5. Improve links with business partners to offer cricket as a sport to their employees.

6. Grow our female members' level and expand our links to  BAME members of the community.
