Why Apex in the Community Herts CIC
About us:
Apex in the Community Hertfordshire CIC
About Us:
Set up in 2016, the Apex CIC has actively brought communities together and seeks to continue do so into the future.
We believe the sponsorships available with Apex in the Community and the Active Dacorum Hub will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or for the love of physical activity!
Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.
Why Sponsor Us?
Audience:
Apex as an organisation has been delivering sport, dance and physical activity (Including inflatable events) in Hertfordshire since 2005.
Your audience will be the captive audience of Hub users and Event attendees; exclusive business promotions;
invites to club events.
Our links with the main Apex businesses ensure we are committed to giving you and your company the exposure and promotion you deserve. We recognise that without your support many of our events and activities would not happen!
Promoting with Us:
The CIC has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with partnership opportunites and benefits ranging from but are not limited to:
- Logo & link on social media posts and websites pages.
- Physical advertisement on the CIC and / or Hub assets.
- Opportunities to advertise at CIC events and at the Hub.
- Alternative/supplementary benefits can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of sponsor commitment.
Facilities:
We operate in a geographically confined region in Hertfordshire and Middlesex meaning your marketing investment can be focussed to maximise value to your business. The CIC is based at the Active Dacorum Hub in Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7BA.
Apex were invited by Dacroum Borough Council to run the “Active Dacorum Hub” facility at Cupids Green for the benefit of the whole local community. The new multipurpose sprung floor studio facility will help bring the community together offering classes and activities to a wide audience.
The CIC is part of the Apex "network". It was set up specifically to create and develop opportunities for local people to volunteer and potentially gain employment in local community sport, dance and physical activity across Hertfordshire as well as a fundraising vehicle for local schools and community clubs.
Aspirations:
We hope to promote the Hub and what the CIC can offer to potentially 25,000+ annual visitors to the Hub. We seek to grow both our playing opportunities. Off the pitch, there are aspirations to build upon and foster stronger community links and local partnerships with a view to providing a community centred Hub and hive of activity for future generations to join, support and enjoy into the future.
Today:
The Active Dacorum hub is ready for hire and, although the numbers being allowed to attend are still somewhat affected by Covid restrictions, these are easing more and more.
The Hub is moving away from a low income, low spend model towards a more integrated, sustainable model to deliver longer term growth through local partnerships and sponsorships rather than being bankrolled by a single wealthy benefactor.
We are hopeful that these changes will begin to take effect, with green shoots of promise showing within two years of redevelopment.
Improved financial health, increased participation & new community ties are evidence that the steps the Hub has taken are beginning to set the right foundations for future prosperity.
Our links with the community and assisting in providing training for youth tennis, netball and table tennis, helps to tick the boxes when it comes to social responsibility for the club, and its sponsors.
We anticipate that this is just the start of exciting new beginnings for this versatile venue, with a bright future ahead for this great local initiative.
History:
Apex in the Community is a "not-for-profit" organisation and principally relies on the support of local individuals & businesses to provide funding to run as efficiently as possible.
Without the support and contributions the CIC would not be able to exist in its current form or be able to achieve the goals it has set for itself in the medium to long term.
The CIC's commitment is to reinvest any profits generated back into the Active Dacorum Hub or the organisations based at the hub, for the good of the community. We aim to have low overheads which means we can scale our annual investment to meet our ambitions. We aim to be self-sufficient to provide sustainable conditions for the CIC to operate well into the future, whilst creating the environment for growth within the community.
As a direct result of the growth of Apex, we can give back more to our local community with the CIC part of Apex being set up in 2016.
