Discover the Team Scotland: Target your Sponsorship with Impact!

Who Are We?

Meet the Team Scotland, our National Archery Team, proudly competing in Home Nations, International, and Commonwealth events, inlcuding the 2030 Commonwealth Games. Our team unites the talents of both para and able-bodied archers, representing Scotland with pride and passion.

Why Sponsor Archery?

All of our athletes are self-funded. Archery is an Olympic sport where your sponsorship can make a monumental difference to participants and outcomes. With chronic underinvestment, even small sponsors can create significant impacts, while larger sponsors can revolutionize the sport. Archery not only enhances mental well-being but also boasts a rich history dating back to the earliest days of organized sport.

The Most Inclusive Olympic Sport

Investing in archery means supporting a sport that values tradition, health, and lifelong participation. Recognized as Sunnah in Islam and based on skill rather than strength, archery allows for multi-generational involvement and long careers, with many archers competing well into retirement.

Scotland: The Historic Heart of Archery

Scotland is the birthplace of organized archery, home to the world's oldest sports club, ASKA (since 1483), and the world's oldest tournament, the St Andrews Silver Arrow (since 1618). Our National team, the Saltires, has been competing against England since the 1670s, predating rugby's Calcutta Cup by over 200 years. Despite its benefits, archery became a minority sport as land for practice dwindled and television favored shorter sports.

Archery: A Sport of the Future

Recently, archery has seen a resurgence with shorter formats and thrilling head-to-head matches, making it more media-friendly and streaming-ready. This is your chance to get involved early with a sport set to raise its profile ahead of the LA 2028 Games. It is becoming increasingly technical, with massive advances in equipment and coaching alongside a new audience in growing markets.
