About us:

We are a highly competitive team, who always relish a challenge with a determined grin.

We are 1 in 15 Universities in the country with an RFU partnership to help the development of rugby union which see's us have an o2 touch center, performance 7s as well as merit and intramural festivals. We currently have two 15 a side BUCS squads. Our First and Second teams both compete in BUCS competitions (2B & 5B) against other Universities. We are also linking up with Colchester Rugby Club with our Cavs side. This enables us to facilitate the needs of all player types, from lifelong rugby players to casual players who have never played before!

We are serious about improving in the coming seasons and promoting an exciting brand of rugby which will see us move up the BUCS leagues and become a top University for the Rugby Union.

On top of this, we are one of the most inclusive and socially active groups on campus. We hold a post-match social every Wednesday which is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and regularly go on team days out for meals and trips away together, emphasizing our extremely passionate 'work hard, play hard' philosophy. Our annual Rugby tour during the Easter holidays is an experience you will never forget.

Participation in a sport really completes the University experience and is a great way to meet new people. Players of all sizes and ability are welcome.
