Why Royal Air Force Rugby Union
About us:
RAF Senior XV Rugby Union will be conducting an overseas visit to Canada in June 2018 to mark the 100th year anniversary of the Royal Air Force.
The RAF Rugby Union is a charitable organisation solely reliant on the generosity of our sponsors.
We are aiming to raise £30,000 via sponsorship to fund this overseas visit.
What we can offer in return - your companies logo on RAF branded tour merchandise, advertisement on our social media, invitations to and hosting at RAF Rugby Union events, hosted lunch visit at an RAF main operating base in the UK including a look around various aircraft and such as the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight or the Red Arrows Display Team.
RAF Rugby Union
RAF Rugby Union consists of five representative teams. These are the Senior XV, Hawks XV(Development), U23 XV, Vultures (Veterans) and Women’s XV.
The season culminates with the Inter-Service Championshipin in which the Senior XV, Vultures XV and Women’s XV compete against the British Army and Royal Navy.
In recent years the RAF Rugby Union has been on the rise with all three Inter-Service teams earning victories including the Senior XV winning the 2015 & 2018 Inter-Service Championship title.
