Who Are We?

We are Currie Chieftains CCRFC, a premiership rugby club at the heart of the Balerno, Currie, Juniper Green and broader west Edinburgh community for over 50 years. The Club is now firmly established as one of Scotland's top rugby teams with increasing brand recognition including media and television coverage, the Chieftains have enjoyed great success in recent seasons. Their achievements include:

We are more than a rugby club, with over 500 members across our Senior, Ladies & Girls and Mini and Youth sections, and a busy hub at Malleny Park we offer our commercial partners genuine visibility and reach within a loyal engaged local audience.

Chieftains have a strong tradition of developing players and promoting the values of teamwork, respect and community. As part of the wider Currie rugby community, the Chieftains provide competitive rugby opportunities while fostering a welcoming environment for players, supporters and volunteers.
