Aberdeen Medics Rugby Football Club

Why Aberdeen Medics Rugby Football Club

We play in SNIMS, which is an annual sports competition between the medical schools of Scotland and Northern Ireland, as such our kit and its sponsor get around
Playing in Caledonia North leagues affords us a lot of travel around the North of Scotland including the islands
Every 2 years we organise a tour, our last one saw us play two teams in Amsterdam

About us:

We're a student run club consisting mainly of medical students attending the University of Aberdeen. We're primarily a social rugby club welcoming players of all abilities, even those who have never played before.

Our first year in an SRU league saw us earn promotion however, proving that social clubs can still put a strong outfit together.

We play in an annual sports competition between the medical schools of Scotland and Northern Ireland, called SNIMS. Each year a different medical school hosts the competition in its respective city.

Our club's 15 year anniversary is this september which will be sure to be cause for plenty of celebration.
