About us:

Hungerford Town Football Club

Known as the "Crusaders" we have a proud history dating back to 1886

We believe sponsorship of the club will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responcibility), or for the love of the club.

What ever your motivation, find out more below. Thankyou for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us:

Currently we are a 'Not for Profit' community members club. We are in the process of becoming a CIC (Community Interest Company). Essentially this will acknoledge our commitment to reinvesting all our profits into the club, for the good of the community.

Nationwide press coverage & BT Sport as a National League South team all of our matches are filmed and the goals broadcast on BT Sport.

As a club we are focused on both our own sustainability, while aspiring to deliver collective value back to the community in which we are based. Our ambitious target is to build the towns firsts 4G pitch, this will both enable the club to generate long term sustainable income while also delivering a platform for tomorrows players and the wider community to participate in sport all year round.

Today:

After many changes the club finds itself with a new Chairman - Patrick Chambers. His passion for the sport is there for all to see. Patrick's long term aim is the growth of the club on and off the pitch. Making the club sustainable and not reliant on a benefacture, as well as the continued development of the Academy. Moving away from being a members club to a Community Interest Company (not for profit) helps to tick the boxes when it comes to social responsibility for the club, and its sponsors. The erection of the new stand, new sponsors both local and national, as well as new shirt sponsors, but this is just the start. There is still along way to go but with solid foundations the future is beginning to look rosy.

Aspirations:

Having recently erected a new stand, and with a realistic goal of a top 10 finish. Our next major project is to deliver the first 4G pitch in the town which will benefit the whole community and help to create long term financial sustanabilty for future generation to enjoy the club.

History:

Hungerford Town Football Club
1886 - Present

Hungerford Town Football Club has come a long way since its formation in 1886. The club first played on Hungerford Marsh field but soon moved to the present ground at Bulpit Lane.

Today we play our football in the Vanarama National League South, just two steps away from the football league.

As a town with a population of just 6000, playing at this level was only ever a dream, we have made it a reality, but it brings its challenges.
