About us:

About Us:

Trent Bridge Cricket Team was formed in 1996 by Tom Paterson, with the squad made up from the non-professional staff and associates of Trent Bridge - except for special occasions.

We have continued to grow each year with the number of fixtures now exceeding 20 each season. In 1998 the first tour was held, and its success ensured it has become an annual event, with 2008 holding the first overseas tour.

Why Partner with Us?

We believe sponsor partners of our team will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or for the love of the game and our team.

Audience:

Trent Bridge Cricket Team consists of both men, women and juniors, therefore has a vast range of people to spread your brand/business through. We current run two teams playing evening matches midweek (T20) and Sunday afternoon matches at some of the most picturesque grounds around. Our audience is large due to not owning a ground - therefore leasing/renting pitches around the area. This means when we play at home, there is the potential to be at a number of different grounds/locations, opening up a broad spectrum of people which will significantly increase your exposure.

As mentioned below, we also have a digital audience.

Digital:

As a team we understand the importance and power of social media and currently use Instagram, Twitter and Facebook along with our own website. Our strongest and largest following is through Twitter and Instagram but we aim to grow all 3 platforms over the coming seasons.

The team has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with opportunities ranging from but are not limited to:

- Brand logo & website link on social media posts and website pages, to an audience of roughly 143,000 annually

-  Physical advertisement on club assets, providing exposure to players and spectators which will also be advertised through our social media

- Captive audience of team members for exclusive business promotions, driving top-line sales

- Invites to team events

Alternative & supplementary requests can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of sponsor commitment, budget and your business objectives.

Today:

Trent Bridge Cricket Team are a social side who play a number of Sunday friendly and midweek league matches each season. We currently consist of one team.

Aspirations:

As a team we aspire to have our own ground in the future. We believe growing our sponsorship will eventually allow for this. This would also enable us to grow our sponsorship opportunities - through having more opportunity for banners, boards, scoreboards, function facility and much more.

History:

In 2003 we took on a challenge by joining the Nottingham Evening Cricket League, adding a competitive touch to matches while still playing with a smile on our faces. 2009 brought our first league silverware in the form of the 2nd Division title. We went on to win the 1st Divison title in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The 2004 season included a game against former Nottinghamshire CCC captain and England Lions batter Paul Johnson XI during his testimonial year, with stars on the day including former West Indies captain Jimmy Adams and Australian batting sensation David Hussey making their debuts.

This was followed in 2005 with a Charity match against the world famous Bunbury Cricket Club (founded & captained by David English CBE), raising more than £4,000 for the ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ and Murali’s Tsunami ‘MVGF’ charities.

In 2016 to mark our 20th anniversary we played a match at Lord's Cricket Ground and this was followed in 2018 with a fixture at Highclere Castle (home of Downton Abbey) against Lord Carnarvon's XI.
