About us:

Hundall Cricket Club

Hundall Cricket Club is a friendly, welcoming club whose home ground is situated on Windmill Lane, Hundall. The club currently boasts 2 Saturday sides who play in Division 3N & 8N of the Derbyshire County Cricket League and a Sunday XI who compete in Division 2N of the Mansfield & District Sunday League.

In addition to a competitive senior set up, we have a thriving junior contingent with age groups starting at Under 9, advancing all the way through to Under 17 level. We have a series of qualified, experienced coaches who share a common goal of bringing through fresh, raw talent to represent the senior teams of the future.

Why Sponsor Us?

We are a non-for-profit club that invests all monies received back into the club, used for developing talent, improving facilities, and creating opportunities for local children & adults alike.

We are a registered community amateur sports club (CASC) with an association with healthy lifestyles and physical activity

We play against teams from Derbyshire, South Yorkshire & Nottinghamshire meaning sponsorship can be focussed to maximize value to your business.

The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from, but not limited to:

- Company logo & link on social media posts and website's sponsors' page

- Physical advertisement on club assets

- Opportunities to advertise at club events

Alternative/supplementary perks can be arranged through negotiation, dependent on the level of sponsor commitment.

Today

We have recently moved our senior teams over to the Derbyshire County Cricket League in which we have already experienced some success.  The 1st XI won Division 4N in our debut season and followed it up with the Division 3N Covid Shield last year. Our 2nd XI also won Division 9N in their debut season, narrowly missing out on the Division 8N Covid Shield last year.

We have aspirations of progressing further through the leagues in the coming years to compete at the highest possible level for both teams.

Our thriving junior section has supplied players to both Yorkshire & Derbyshire junior set-ups in recently and we continuously develop juniors for senior sides of the future with around half of our current 1st XI having come from our junior section.

Aspirations

We have recently embarked on a fundraising project which aims to raise around £300,000 to replace our current pavilion with a brand new ECB spec, pavilion.

We would also like to add a women's team and a 3rd XI to our current selection of adult sides.

History

Founded in 1912, the ground was originally owned by Whitbread brewery until a section of the club approached them to buy it for £200 in 1979 to help secure the future of the club for years to come.

We enjoyed a rich run of form in the late '90s and early 00's where we won the Yorkshire & Derbyshire Division 1 Championship 8 times including a record 7 in a row between  1998 & 2004

In 2008 we started our junior section and some of our first ever juniors, are now regulars in our senior sides.
