Track Academy has recently created our own competing club. A big step to smoothen the pathway for athletes into competition and so give more of our young people the opportunity to compete and benefit from everything that comes from competing in a team and challenging themselves benefitting from improved confidence, resilience, mental health and more friends and supportive relationships (critical for growth and social mobility).

All our athletes benefit from access to the competing club but registration an athlete for competition (getting Unique Registration Number, URN) costs £23 annually (from April 2026). This URN is used for identification in events, accessing benefits like discounted race entries and signing into the England Athletics portal.

This registration could be a barrier to competing for some of our athletes (45% of our athletes are from low income families) and so YOU can remove that barrier by covering the cost of this annual fee?

We would aim to register 50 athletes in the year so £23 x 50 = £1,150.
