GIRLS' EMERGING TALENT CENTRE:

We run an FA Licensed programme for young female players who stand out as having talent and high potential in Devon. This programme works alongside the players' grassroots clubs and focuses on developing players through a high quality training and fixture programme. It provides opportunities for the girls to reach the top and also benefits those grassroots club who's players have access to fantastic coaching and resources.

The programme runs from August through to May and weekly training sessions take place at Ivybridge Community College. This season we are adding an Under 10's team to our roster of Under 12, 14 and 16.

Success Stories:

The programme consistently helps players progress to regional, national and England squads. In the 2021/22 season alone, we had 4 players attend National FA Talent Camps and 2 players selected for the 24 player England Women's Under 16 squad.

Our Girls Centre has a huge following through not only the players, parents and staff but also through the clubs that the players play for. This creates a huge pool of interest in the programme and the matches are often very well attended. For those who cannot make it to the matches, they are always recorded and highlights aired on our Facebook and YouTube channels.

We are very proactive with promotion on our social media channels and posts regarding the Girls Centre are amongst the most popular on our Facebook page.

Sponsorship:

Having a sponsor on board would enable us to do the following:

- Provide financial support to any player who may need it to attend Funding has been a barrier for some players in the past and this would help reduce fees
- Improve our workforce by offering CPD and additional training to staff Expand our workforce by offering more opportunities for young female coaches
- Use technology to enhance player development
- More contact time through further training and fixtures

Fee: Packages start at £1,000 (+VAT) per season
