Zachary is a committed and enthusiastic member of the Tournament Squad, bringing focus, character and determination to every training session.

A standout moment in his journey so far came at his first ever competition, where he earned a special medal for 4th place in the Adapted Kata category — a brilliant achievement and a huge milestone that reflects his hard work and confidence to step onto the competition floor.

When he’s not at karate, you’ll usually find Zachary reading or playing on the PlayStation, enjoying time to relax and recharge away from training.

Zachary is a member of our Tournament Squad, a specialist group of athletes who have the opportunity to compete at regional, national and international level.

Alongside regular karate classes, squad members also attend additional specialist squad training focused on:

• Competition tactics

• Technical development

• Physical preparation

• Confidence and performance skills

This additional training prepares athletes for competition and progression — and comes with extra costs.

To keep the squad accessible, athletes only pay a small contribution.


The remainder is covered by a limited number of Training Supporter Sponsorships.

Each £50 sponsorship directly supports Zachary’s:

• Specialist squad coaching

• Hall and facility hire

• Performance training sessions

• Ongoing competition preparation

Only four sponsorships are available for Zachary for the 2026 season.
