Born in 1986 in India, Venu is Muff Field’s own Ironman — but in cricket whites and slightly less spandex. Since joining in 2023, he’s established himself as a passionate sportsman who brings more energy to the field than most of the under-21s combined.
With a couple of hundreds in the past two seasons, Venu’s quietly let his bat do the talking — and it’s been shouting loud and proud. Off the pitch, he’s an IT professional by trade, jogging enthusiast by choice, and biryani enthusiast by destiny. Rumour has it, he once padded up just for a Sunday net… and still refused to come out.
