It's a League rule in athletics that all team managers and assistant managers are easily identified during matches - why not have your brand logo easily identified at the same time??? With so many athletes we have dedicated Team Managers for specific age groups e.g. Under 12s, Senior Ladies, who cover Track & Field, Cross-Country, and Road Relays.
The Team Manager puts in a LOT of work:
- Assessing athletes during training sessions
- Liaising with event coaches over athlete selections
- Discussions with athletes and their parents/guardians.
- Communicating directions and instructions for matches
- Checking athletes in on the day and managing the distribution of vest identification - not uncommon for an athlete to be an A (first choice), B (second choice) or NS (Non-scorer) all in the one match!
- Managing athlete welfare, safety and any match appeals.
- Recording event outcomes.
'Kit' is defined as a weatherproof jacket and polo shirt.
