Andre joined the club in November 2022 at just five years old and has been building his karate journey step by step ever since.

One of his proudest achievements so far has been earning his Green Belt — a big milestone that reflects his commitment, progress, and love for training.

When he’s not at the dojo, Andre enjoys playing tennis and building Lego, bringing the same focus and creativity into everything he does.

Favourite food?

Meatball pasta and sushi.

Andre brings enthusiasm, discipline, and a strong work ethic to the Tournament Squad, and 2026 will be an exciting year as he continues to grow and develop as a competitive athlete.

Andre is a member of our Tournament Squad, a specialist group of athletes with the opportunity to compete at regional, national, and international level.

Alongside regular karate classes, squad members also attend additional high-performance training focused on:

• Competition tactics

• Advanced technical development

• Physical conditioning

• Mental preparation for tournaments

This extra training prepares athletes for the demands of elite-level competition — and it also comes with additional costs.

To keep the squad accessible, athletes only pay a small contribution.

The remainder is covered by a limited number of Training Supporter Sponsorships.

Each £50 sponsorship directly supports Andre’s:

• Specialist squad coaching

• Facility hire

• Performance training sessions

• 2026 competition preparation

Only four sponsorships are available for Andre for the 2026 season.
