Why Boxmoor Cricket Club

Sponsorship helps Boxmoor CC improve its facilities for all players (senior and junior boys and girls) as well as for its social members and the local community
We are in the heart of the Boxmoor Village community very visible to passers by both from the road and pedestrians. Advertising at the club will have lots of eyes on it.
Sponsorship will help us keep growing as a club increasing the number of boys and girls who want to join us.

About us:

Welcome to the official SNAP profile of Boxmoor Cricket Club!

Who Are We?

Boxmoor Cricket Club is a long established League Cricket Club in the town of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. In 2017 the club celebrated its 160th anniversary, having played all of its cricket at its current ground "The Moor", St Johns Road, Boxmoor.

Boxmoor Cricket Club aims to provide safe, fair, and enjoyable cricket for its members, young and old. The club hopes to provide an environment fit for the local community, in which players and social members can develop their cricketing skills, knowledge and friendships.

The club currently has a playing membership of over 70 adults and fields three teams in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League on Saturdays and a 4th XI for friendlies.
On Sundays it fields two sides - playing a mix of Friendly Cricket and Chess Valley League Cricket.

There is an active junior section of boys and girls, with over 100 young cricketers learning the game under the supervision of ECB qualified coaches.
The club has its own pavilion which includes a lounge, bar and kitchen. The building is sublet on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings to the Gade Valley Harriers and Dacorum Running Clubs and is available for hire for private functions.

Boxmoor Cricket Club is accredited with the ECB Club Mark status, joining a growing number of cricket clubs across England and Wales that are prioritising junior development and creating a benchmark for high quality community club cricket.
