School Outreach Programme
Dates
We will be running beach volleyball taster sessions throughout the summer terms visiting primary and secondary schools in the Canterbury area to encourage participation in our programmes.
We aim to reach at least 2000 children over the course of the summer and each child will be given either a physical printed leaflet and/or a PDF copy sent home via their school's parent communication system.
These taster sessions aim to increase awareness of the sport and the venue and build a sustainable group of athletes to train and play regularly in Canterbury at our coached sessions and junior competitions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for up to three brands to associate with popular programme that has seen successive year on year growth for the last three years. This will be our first direct outreach into schools so we are expecting significant growth from previous years and increased community engagement with our club and its sponsors.
