Saint Piran’s three tier structure, from the elite level pros, through emerging talent, both men and women, and down to enthusiastic amateurs and grassroots riders, makes us unique in the professional cycling world.
We compete annually in more than 30 races, including the HSBC Road series , the HSBC National Circuit Series, the Tour Series and the National Road Championships, as well as races in France and Belgium.
Perhaps the most significant achievement, however, is securing a place on the start line of the Tour of Britain, one of the world’s premier international stage races. This has particular significance in 2021 since, for the first time ever, the race starts in Cornwall. This was a unique opportunity for the team to race on home roads against some of the world’s top teams.
The foundation of the Saint Piran pyramid, this organisation encompasses keen amateur level cyclists - competing in local time trials, circuit races and sportives – and those who enjoy purely social rides. We also welcome non-riders keen to show their support for the team. Through Saint Piran Cycling, the Pro team is in touch with, and supported by, the grassroots level of the sport. We host events throughout the year including time trials, monthly organised social rides, a summer sportive and a range of social events at our Café.
Be part of Cornwall's highest ranked elite sports team, join our journey and community - We offer memberships which help support our cause, which aren't just for riders. You'll receive welcome packs, early bird discounts on bikes, clothing and accessories from Bike Chain Ricci and much more.
We support cyclists from elite level pros, through to emerging talent, both men and women, and down to enthusiastic amateurs and grassroots riders.
To have impact. Impact in society, impact in racing, impact in cycling and impact on people's lives.
To make Saint Piran the most famous cycling team in the world.
