Events and functions

The extensive, beautifully managed grounds are hidden from the road, so you may not be aware of the safe, open areas available for recreational facilities and community events. From children’s football tournaments to motor shows, quiz nights to beer festivals, they have the space you need. Sutton Coldfield RFC is the only local venue able to host an open bonfire night in the community, and don’t miss the annual Midsummers Ball.

The site includes 2 fully licensed bars, including the club room with space for 100 people and an upstairs function room that seats 60. Whether it’s a major event or something a little more personal, they can provide the atmosphere you require.

The club has links with a large network of local suppliers including their own in house caterers - marquee hire and furnishings, décor and entertainment.

Volunteer and join in

Sutton Coldfield RFC is almost completely run by volunteers. We welcome your involvement. If you want to find out more about the wonderful sport of rugby, project manage events, help with our grounds maintenance or more, and in return reap the rewards of being a RFC volunteer, please get in touch.
