About us:

The Best Police Rugby Club in the United Kingdom. The Metropolitan Police Rugby Club was formed in 1923 and competes Nationally and in Surrey RFU Leagues. From the glory days of 70's and 80's National League Rugby, the Met Rugby Club descended out of the RFU leagues with the introduction of the professional era. A small cohort of keen and dedicated individuals have rejuvenated this sleeping giant and the club now boasts 2 senior men's teams, mini rugby, O2 touch and a developing ladies section. Everything is centred around grassroots rugby and the RFU core values.
