About us:

My name is Rhodri Evans and I am the manager of the Gogerddan Raiders rugby 7s team. The Raiders are one of the most successful teams on the UK amateur circuit, coming third in the RFU national finals whilst also winning numerous individual titles. Our tournament wins to date include Frome 7s elite twice, Hartpury 7s, Sundogs 7s elite twice, Aberaeron 7s and Newport 7s over the period of only one and a half seasons. During the 2019 season so far, we have competed in four tournaments including the National invitational cup at Bournemouth 7s, and we have won three of them. During the 2020 season we will be attending some of the largest 7s tournaments in the UK and the world. Our fixtures will include Dubai 7s, Bournemouth 7s, Amsterdam 7s, Summer Social London and we are also hoping to be a core member of the UK’s professional Super Sevens Series circuit. We were invited to three of the four tournaments on the circuit this year but we are hoping to become a core team during 2020.

During 2020, we will be competing in a minimum of 10 tournaments which will give your company the exposure to tens of thousands of eyes. Dubai 7s attracts over 100,000 spectators over the weekend, with the final of the Mens International Open being held inside the 7s Stadium. Bournemouth 7s attracts over 30,000 individuals each year, and the Raiders compete in the premier tournament with every game on the main pitch. Summer Social London attracts thousands again and the super series is the professional home of 7s in the UK. The Raiders truly offer the greatest possibility of spreading your company’s image.

Our players consist of Junior international players, International 7s stars, Welsh Premiership players and players from England’s National leagues as well as players from some of the best sporting universities in the UK.

Our reputation is continually growing on the domestic and international scene and, possibly more importantly, gaining an ever increasing following off the pitch. Our social media platforms are seeing continuous growth in followers and posts this year have reached up to 10,000 individuals on Facebook for any individual post. We have our own professional photographer and videographer who creates media content for ourselves which garners a great number of interactions on social media and could directly show your sponsorship to any and all who see our content. We also have a professional graphic designer who produces visuals for ourselves that would be able to incorporate your brand into them. We would also be happy for these professional media posts, generated for the Raiders, to be shared on your own social media platforms, to show the support you give towards the community. Not only would your company be introduced to hundreds of thousands of possible spectators throughout the season, our social media posts directly boost your name with clear messages stating the relationship we have with your company and how grateful we are of your support.

The past two seasons we have also worked with two charities, ‘The Ted Senior Foundation’ and ‘Get The Boys A Lift’, two charities that aim to aid with the reduction in young suicides and this is something we are very keen to press again during the 2020 season.

We fully understand the importance of "sponsorship return" for your business and will fulfil that if you choose to sponsor us. We are seeking a small donation and in return your company will be displayed on this year’s outstanding rugby kit or team wear. Our sponsorship price plan for the forthcoming 2020 season is attached to this letter.

Our media presence is very strong. We have our own professional videgrapher and photographer as well as our own graphic designer, who could all encorporate your business into the Raiders brand. We will show your company to thousands of eyes.
