About us:

England Police Rugby Union Football Club

Established in 2015, England Police RUFC provides high level playing opportunities to Police Officers across the country.

We believe sponsorship of our club will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or for the love of Police Representative Rugby Whatever your motivation, find out more below.

Thank you for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us:

England Police Rugby principally relies on the generosity of businesses to provide funding to run as efficiently as possible. Without these contributions the club would not be able to exist in its current form or be able to achieve the goals it has set for itself in the medium to long term.

The club runs as a not-for-profit; essentially our commitment is to invest our funds into maximising sponsor exposure. Our main outgoings are pitch hire, players refreshments, a medical team and the provision of financial assistance to allow players to represent the section across the UK.

We operate in a geographically large area, across the UK and globally, meaning your marketing investment can be maximised for your business. Matches in London, Newcastle, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow and Dublin mean that your brand will be visible across many markets.

The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from but are not limited to:

- link on social media posts and websites pages

- physical advertisement on club assets opportunities to advertise at club events

- priority access to all England Police Rugby fixtures

- captive audience of club members for exclusive business promotions

- invites to club events

Alternative/supplementary opportunities can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of sponsor commitment.

Whilst we are a National representative community club, we are committed to giving you and your company the personal exposure and promotion you deserve.

We recognise that without your support many of our cops would not be enjoying representative rugby and the pride associated with playing for your country.

The club has a family ethos from the day the club founded and rugby values we all know and love; more recently it has built a professional ambition through the efforts of Vice Chair John Witworth and Director of Rugby Phil Watters. Both have coordinated on and off-field development along with the support of our chairman, Chief Constable Simon Watson and Honorary President Lewis Moody.

There is an embedded passion for rugby and dedication to success in all, taking strides to refresh aspects of the club across the board. The club is moving away from a low income, low spend model towards a more integrated, sustainable model to deliver longer term growth through local partnerships and sponsorships rather than being bankrolled a single wealthy benefactor.

On the pitch, the club’s ambition is to build to become the leading Police Rugby side in the world. Off the pitch, there are aspirations to build upon and foster stronger community links and local partnerships with a view to providing a community centered club for future generations to join, support and enjoy.

England Police Rugby is an amateur National Team made up of the best rugby players from all English Police Forces. We play representative rugby in a yearly four Nations Tournament as well as the International Police Rugby Cup every 4 years . In 2019 this was hosted by Hong Kong Rugby where we played against Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
