Why Brixton Bulls RLFC
Brixton has a proud history and we have recently enjoyed great success on and off the field thanks to the hard work and commitment from the players, friends, families and volunteers who are connected with the Club. During 2018, the Men’s first team won the Grand Final of the London Championship for the second year running, and the Club also launched a second men's team, became the first club in London to establish a Women's team, and doubled the number of juniors playing the sport - we’re committed to registering these teams for the forthcoming season and growing the number of members at our Club. Following our back to back Championship victories, the First Team will be playing in a newly formed Southern Premier Conference, which is recognised as the 4th tier of Rugby League in the UK.
We’re committed to providing an open and inclusive environment which appeals to a diverse range of people – in recognition of this, we were awarded the 2018 London Community Club of the Year. Our roster, support personnel and wider stakeholders are testament to this vision and commitment. In our short history we’ve had players go on to reach representative honours with the England youth teams, Super League clubs (the top division in the country) and county honours. Without the Brixton Bulls these opportunities for kids in the south simply wouldn’t exist, as we are the only Rugby League team in the local area. The network of local talent, university students and hard working professionals provide a great network for all involved in the Club.
