About us:

Big Town RFC

Established in 1975, Big Town RFC is one of Surrey’s most successful rugby clubs.

We believe sponsorship of our club will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or for the love of the club.

Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us:

Big Town RFC principally relies on the generosity of local individuals & businesses to provide funding to run as efficiently as possible. Without these contributions the club would not be able to exist in its current form or be able to achieve the goals it has set for itself in the medium to long term.

Big Town RFC boasts a growing membership in excess of 1,000, with season ticket sales increasing significantly in recent times.

The clubhouse is situated within 23 acres of freehold land and has excellent amenities for players, spectators and corporate guests, with dining facilities for up to 200, whilst the ground contains a large stand and capacity for 1,000 supporters.

We operate in a county with many opportunities and a great community of thousands that will see your brand.

The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from but are not limited to:

  • - logo & link on social media posts and websites pages
  • -  physical advertisement on club assets
  • - opportunities to advertise at club events
  • - priority access to SRU tickets through club
  • - captive audience of club members for exclusive business promotions
  • - invites to club events

Alternative/supplementary perks can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of sponsor commitment

We are committed to giving you and your company the exposure and promotion you deserve. We recognise that without your support many of our club members would not be enjoying their rugby at the weekend!

Today:

Throughout the club, Big Town RFC's ideals reflect the RFU’s core values of Rugby, Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. And recent market research has overwhelmingly shown that the club comes across as being warm and friendly, providing good quality rugby for all.

Whilst we are ambitious, we also have a strong family ethos, derived from a commitment to youth rugby for all age groups. Furthermore, the club continues to develop strong links with local charities.

All this is underwritten by a diverse sponsor base, at a variety of different levels, which aids the club’s financial stability.

Aspirations:

With membership and crowd attendances rising, we have ambitious plans to develop the infrastructure at the club, to include stadia enhancements. This will allow Big Town RFC to firstly become a more integral part of the local community and also a destination venue providing sports and leisure facilities to a much wider audience.

On the pitch, the club’s ambition is to build on the progression seen both on and off the pitch into the new season. We are aiming for promotion in the coming years and seek to grow both our players and club.

History:

Big Town RFC = 1975 - Present

Big Town RFC has a small history. Being one of the most successful clubs in Surrey has not always been the case. In the last 20 years that name has been developed. Prior 2000 Big Town RFC were a small team with a low number of players, they struggled to pull a team together for a game.

Over the years, past teams have experienced mixed success in leagues, one off tournaments and past tours.

Today we play our rugby in many leagues, the 1st XV currently plays semi-professional rugby in South East Premier 1. The club also supports a further 5 senior competitive and social sides, plus youth rugby for boys and girls, aged 6 to 18.

The club plays its annual Old Boys match as the final pre-season warm up fixture, competing for the Pine Memorial Trophy in memory of ex-supporter and superstar member Jacob Pine.
