Why Ready... Go!
Established 2019, Ready… Go! provides 7 unique sports and other activities across the North of England. Giving many opportunities for participation; especially in our ‘new norm’. We know these sports will continue to grow into the future.
We believe our club will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return through sponsorship.

Why Sponsor Us:
Ready… Go! principally relies on members subscriptions and grants (when we are lucky enough to be successful) to provide funding to run as efficiently as possible. Without these contributions the club would not be able to exist in its current form or be able to achieve the goals it has set for itself in the medium to long term.
The club runs as close to a not-for-profit as possible; essentially our commitment is to reinvest our profits into the club, for the good of the community. We aim to have low overheads which means we can scale our annual investment to meet our ambitions. We aim to be self-sufficient providing sustainable conditions for the club to operate well into the future, whilst creating the environment for club growth within the community.
Each sport can be played indoors and outdoors and under the current pandemic, each sport is socially distant friendly. We will be developing the sport across the North of England.
VX was described by the BBC World Service as ‘the best sport you’ve never heard of’. Mixed participation, for all ages. Ingredients are a cross between hockey, lacrosse, basque pelota, and dodgeball.
Like VX, yBall is also mixed participation, for all ages. Ingredients are American Football, Netball,
Crossminton is the only sport we have the whole of England to develop as we have reached a special agreement with the International Crossminton Association. A hybrid of badminton, squash and tennis.
Catchball was originally developed in Israel for women to become more active and socialise afterwards. This is exactly what the younger generations today. It is like Volleyball
UK Wallball has been around for some time. We think this is a great sport for the young people an ideal urban sport where the walls can be graffitied. All you need is a ball and a wall. Use your hands to hit the ball. Like Gaelic Handball, Chinese handball, Pêl-Law (Welsh handball) and American handball.
Street Racket is a fun, accessible game, designed to benefit people of all ages and abilities! This exciting Swiss concept is being played all around the world. There is virtually no infrastructure needed.
YOU.FO is a versatile sports and leisure game, based on throwing and catching an aerodynamic ring with specially designed sticks.
It can be played freestyle in parks, on beaches or on city squares. But, it can also be played as a team game (3vs3 / 4vs4 / 5vs5) on existing sports fields or even indoors in a gym. The official competition game YOU.FO Zone is mixed-gender, non-contact, self-regulated and you continue playing at all time. It is “easy to play, fun to master”.
We operate geographically in North of England meaning your marketing investment can be focussed to maximise value to your business. Activities are played all over the area, meaning that your brand will be visible across the North East market.
The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from, but are not limited to:
- logo & link on social media posts and websites pages
- physical advertisement on club assets
- opportunities to advertise at club events
- priority access to SRU tickets through club
- captive audience of club members for exclusive business promotions
- invites to club events
Alternative/supplementary perks can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of sponsor commitment
Whilst we are a small community club, we are committed to giving you and your company the exposure and promotion you deserve. We recognise that without your support many of our participants would not be enjoying their chosen sport!
The club has a family ethos from the day the club founded and values we all know and love; We have passion for these sports and dedication to local success; in all, taking strides to refresh aspects of the club across the board. The club is moving away from a low income, low spend model towards a more integrated, sustainable model to deliver longer term growth through local partnerships and sponsorships rather than being run on a day to day basis.
These changes are the beginning. Improved financial health, increased participation & new community ties are evidence that the steps the club has taken is beginning to manifest itself in setting the right foundations for future prosperity.
Our links with the community helps to tick the boxes when it comes to social responsibility for the club, and its sponsors.
We anticipate that this is just the start of a new beginning, with a bright future ahead.
With each individual sport, the club’s ambition is to build on the progression made up to the lockdown in 2020 and continue it next year. We are aiming to develop and promotion each sport in the coming years and seek to grow both our participants and club. We to intend build and foster stronger community links and local partnerships with a view to providing a community centred club for future generations to join, support and enjoy into the future.
2019 – Present
As a relatively new club we have little history to tell you. What I can say is that the club started with VX as a sport to develop. This year, when the lockdown started in March, we looked at this positively and found the other sports with the focus being on socially distant friendly sports.
The sports are unique to us, and the area.
We are a small, social club serving the local community. Our links with other local groups put us in the heart of the community as we visit many schools delivering the sports. So, you can visualise the exposure we can give a potential sponsor.
