About us:

About us:

Big Town Ice Hockey Club

Established in 2021, Big Town Ice Hockey is completely made up to be using SNAP to help sustain our brand new community ice rink hub.

We believe sponsorship of our club will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or for the love of the club and gme.

Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us:

Big Town Ice Hockey principally relies on the generosity of individuals & businesses who are passionate about growing the game of Ice Hockey to provide funding to run as efficiently as possible. Without these contributions the club would not be able to exist in its current form or be able to achieve the goals it has set for itself in the medium to long term.

Being a club in a growing sport, we attact members across the North West and Midlands from a broad and diverse background. Currently we have 150 playing members and 300 non-playing members.

The Clubs Rink is situated open air in Glossop on Swineshaw Resevoir, with 4 acres of freehold land and has excellent amenities for players, spectators and corporate guests, with dining facilities for up to 200, whilst the ground contains a small stand and capacity for 500 supporters.

We operate in the intersection of counties with many opportunities and a great community of people that will see your brand.

The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from but are not limited to:

- logo & link on social media posts and websites pages

-  physical advertisement on club assets

- opportunities to advertise at club events

- priority access to National Hockey League tickets through club

- captive audience of club members for exclusive business promotions

- invites to club events

Alternative/supplementary perks can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of sponsor commitment

We are committed to giving you and your company the exposure and promotion you deserve. We recognise that without your support many of our club members would not be enjoying their Ice Hockey at the weekend!

Today:

Big Town Ice Hockey provides a safe, inclusive environment that gives a great experience of Ice Hockey through playing, volunteering or spectatoring.  We embody our ICE values of Integrity, Collaboration and Enjoyment in all we do. With this strong foundation, we are looking to build our club to the highest level to provide pathways from first time skaters to adult open age hockey with access points at all levels.

Whilst we are ambitious, we also have a strong family ethos, derived from a commitment to youth sport for all age groups. Furthermore, the club continues to develop strong links with local charities.

All this is underwritten by a diverse sponsor base, at a variety of different levels, which aids the club’s financial stability.

Aspirations:

With membership and crowd attendances rising, we have ambitious plans to develop the infrastructure at the club, to include stadia enhancements. This will allow Big Town Ice Hockey to firstly become a more integral part of the local community and also a destination venue providing sports and leisure facilities to a much wider audience.

On the ice, the club’s ambition is to build on the progression seen both on and off the ice into the new season. We are aiming for promotion in the coming years and seek to grow both our players and club.

History:

Big Town Sport  = 2021 - Present

Big Town Ice Hockey has a small history. Formed by a group of Ice Hockey enthusiasts who were frustrated by the lack of open air lake hockey that drives the take up of the game in Canada, who were able to purchase a disused resevoir that is permanently frozen thanks to the constant minus 10 degree celcius weather in the High Peak region.
