Why Ceann Creige Hurling and Camogie Club
Who we are
We’re an underage and senior hurling and camogie club based in the East End of Glasgow. We offer the opportunity for children of all ages up to adults to actively get involved in hurling and be a part of a friendly club. We have ambitious plans to develop sections at senior level in camogie and hurling, creating a clear and vital pathway for all our players in the club to progress. We are an integral part of the local community and help children make friends, keep actice and develop team working skills.
Why sponsor us
We are looking to form a partnership so all our sponsors will get promoted on our social media channels including facebook and twitter. Not only will the sponsor be helping our club which operates in a verty deprived area of Glasgow so limited resources but will be promoted through our social media channels and to all our members and partners. Our teams travel to both England Ireland for matches/tournamanets so businesses will be promoted not only in the local area.
Where we are
We have both an adult camogie (females) and hurling team (males) and a youth section from age 3 upwards. We have links with 6 local primary schools.
Aspirations for the future
We are planning to launch another 3 year development plan at the end of the year. This will include increase the number of teams we have and coaches/volunteers. We will increase our link with local schools and develop more partnerships in the local area.
Our club was only started in 2019 so have made lots of progress ince inception but have ambitious plans for the fute. Our intention is to have teams at all ages competing regularly. Our longer term would be to own our own facilities in the local area so we could hold more regular events/activities and involve the local community.
