About us:
Waltham Cross Football Club
Hello and welcome to the official SNAP Sponsorship profile of Waltham Cross Football Club.
We're delighted to announce that we’ve now partnered with SNAP Sponsorship and we’re looking for sponsors who are excited about affiliating themselves with a growing Hertfordshire grassroots football club and academy, founded by ex-professional football player Patrick Kanyuka.
We strive to craft a partnership with our sponsors that meets their specific objectives, whether that be community gifting, social responsibility (CSR), direct sales or brand building.
We’ll work with you to develop a partnership which meets both your objectives and adds value to our members — supporting our club’s ongoing work in the community to remove barriers and make sport enjoyable, accessible and sustainable for all.
Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.
Why Sponsor Us?
Meet our community and support our outreach activities
Waltham Cross FC has a strong role in the community. We actively support the local people by giving back through a range of volunteer work and education. Whilst also providing opportunities for young people from all backgrounds to actively participate in sport to improve their mental and physical wellbeing as well as opening doors to young players into the football industry.
Do you want to raise the profile of your organisation? Waltham Cross Football Club has strong social media following and an array of sponsorship opportunities which can be tailored to meet your objectives. Through sponsorship, our club will promote your company in a wide variety of ways, increasing your brand awareness, and therefore enriching the profile of your business.
Participation in team sports improves self-esteem, mental discipline and social skills
Waltham Cross Football Club make training and development fun, we encourage our players to support each other and we celebrate individual achievements and success as a whole.
Although exercise and sport in general can have an incredible effect on people’s mental health and wellbeing, research has shown that there are more impactful mental health benefits of team sports.
In addition to wellbeing and the physical benefits of team sports, there are also valuable life skills and lessons young people can learn including manners, respect and boundaries on and off the pitch; practising persistence, meeting new friends and boosting confidence.
We’d love for you to get involved and see the positive impact football can have on our young players.
Get involved in grassroots sport and remove economic barriers making sport affordable and accessible for all
Sponsorship of a grassroots sport delivers a much higher return on investment than traditional advertising. This is because sponsorship allows your business to become directly involved in activities that are highly valued by local consumers.
Consumers are known to form strong positive associations with sponsors who support the development of grassroots sport and contribute to the local community. With eight out of ten consumers preferring to believe in what a company does rather than what it says, it’s easy to see why many businesses are choosing to sponsor football clubs like ours as a way of maximising their marketing return.
By directly supporting us, you’re helping to remove economic barriers — making sport affordable, accessible and inclusive for all.

Safeguarding
We have a diverse and strong safeguarding team, who understand the challenges faced by young people and how best to support them. Our coaches and staff believe that the health and safety of our students is paramount.
Our Academy
Waltham Cross Academy prides itself on providing an education planned and presented by leading industry professionals, who have the skills, qualifications and experience needed to excel in the football industry.
The Academy was founded by international professional footballer, Patrick Kanyuka, who has played for his national team as well as clubs all over the globe. Patrick has formed a team of lecturers, and coaching staff who are recognised in their chosen profession and can teach a well-rounded curriculum as well as provide insight into their invaluable hands-on experience in the industry.
Waltham Cross Academy cares passionately about providing the best education possible on and off the pitch. As well as a team of scouts with a huge variety of links to different clubs who have the knowledge and network to open doors to players across the country.
Waltham Cross Academy provides young people with a realistic understanding of what it takes to play for a professional football team. We provide traineeships which give our learners the qualifications needed to progress their career in the football industry; whilst providing work experience playing for professional teams. Our unique approach to learning ensures that all of our students are given the opportunity to achieve their qualifications in a supportive and encouraging environment. We place a spotlight on the lifestyle, nutrition and personal resilience that will give our players the skills needed to exceed within their chosen profession. As well as detailed and in-depth media training, industry expert talks from managers, scouts, ex and current professional footballers.
All of our coaches hold up to date DBS checks, and hold minimum requirements of the FA Emergency Aid & Safeguarding certificates. All students are provided with a dedicated safeguarding lead who can support students as and when required.
