Why Tove Valley FC
About us:
Tove Valley FC
Formed in 2018, Tove Valley FC is a Grasroots Football club currently with a Men's First Team competing in the Nene Sunday League in Northamptonshire, the Grassroots League of the Year winner in 2020. Provided a much needed adult club in the Towcester area due to a lack of teams in one of the largest towns without a Step 6 FA Facility club, the Tove have grown from strength to strength each year, helping lead the way as a new club in Northamptonshire football. With a club philosophy focussing on constant improvement, we have built a strong football club in the local community with a link to a large Junior side and a committed foundation of volunteers a local support who help to make our club the best it can be, and reward our amazing sponsors!
Why Sponor Us?
The club have established a large social media presence (1000+ followers across the platforms) through dedicated regular posts to our fanbase, coming up with innovative ideas to reward and help local businesses who have been able to support us. With the club having only been created thanks to intial investment from an amazing Kit Sponsor in our first year, we have always had such gratitude and truly know the importance of sponsorship, with repaying and rewarding these businesses through the club one of our main priorities. We have an appointed FA qualified Social Media Officer leading a team who ensure regular graphics and content is produced highlighting dedicated sponsors for each player/matches.
Today
We currently are still sponsored by our original Main Kit sponsor, The Ganges restaurant, who we have ensured we book an annual club social at, along with our hard work helping them to enhance their own social media marketing, and Cre8 Towcester, a Pottery shop who have helped the team look the part at training and around Towcester with 20,000 residents, sporting their logo on our training tops. This season each individual player in the squad is also sponsored by a local business, a readily affordable way for sponsors to help our players fund their membership to the club, with their logos and business name also put on all our social channels whenever their player of choice is involved in matchdays, and again for any notable action in the games. On the matchdays we regularly get support of 30+ supporters, along with the opposition team and footfall from the village to the park and footpath at the playing field.
Aspirations
Our aspirations for the future are to grow both our matchday support through increased local advertising and sporting success, and to grow our online fanbase through increased quality of regular content and coverage. Beyond enhancing our current club, we have a long term strategy in place to introduce a second team to meet the demand of players in the local area, as well as a Veterens Mens team. Combined with our links to the Junior side we hope to be able to provide open football teams to all players who want to play in the local area, and not to have any hurdles in accessing a fun and competitive environment.
History
In our short history, we have had many highlights on the pitch, recently reaching milestones of going 12 months, and then the whole of 2020 unbeaten in our league campaigns, with high standards of coaching allowing all our players to improve and enhance as a squad to reach success as oppose to a high turnover of players. We have also featured in an international friendly, with the squad traveling to the Algarve Region in Portgual to play Lemsford FC, and are scheduled to play higher tier Maltese teams in an international trip once safe to do so.
