About us:

Real Holmesdale Football Club

Hello and welcome to the official SNAP Sponsorship profile of Real Holmesdale Football Club.

We're delighted to announce that we’ve now partnered with SNAP Sponsorship and we’re looking for sponsors who are excited about affiliating themselves with an ambitious and energetic Croydon football team who are looking to grow their teams and expand their facilities.

We strive to craft a partnership with our sponsors that meets their specific objectives, whether that be community gifting, social responsibility (CSR), direct sales or brand building.

We’ll work with you to develop a partnership which meets both your objectives and adds value to our members — supporting our club’s ongoing work in the community to remove barriers and make sport enjoyable, accessible and sustainable for all.

Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us?

Increased brand awareness

Do you want to raise the profile of your organisation? Real Holmesdale FC has an array of sponsorship opportunities which can be tailored to meet your objectives. Through sponsorship, our club will promote your company in a wide variety of ways, increasing your brand awareness, and therefore enriching the profile of your business in our community.

We're open to all sponsorship possibilities. We also see an opportunity for a local caterer to provide post-match food at the clubhouse and if they were interested, at sponsored networking events where we'd be happy to promote their food and services to the local community.

Participation in team sports improves self-esteem, mental discipline and social skills

Real Holmesdale FC make training and development fun (as you’ll see from our YouTube videos); we encourage our players to support each other and we celebrate individual achievements and success as a whole.

Although exercise and sport in general can have an incredible effect on people’s mental health and wellbeing, research has shown that there are more impactful mental health benefits of team sports.

In addition to wellbeing and the physical benefits of team sports, there are also valuable life skills and lessons young people can learn including manners, respect and boundaries on and off the football pitch; practising persistence, meeting new friends and boosting confidence.

We’d love for you to get involved and see the positive impact football can have on players.

Get involved in grassroots sport and remove economic barriers making sport affordable, accessible and inclusive for all

Sponsorship of a grassroots sport delivers a much higher return on investment than traditional advertising. This is because sponsorship allows your business to become directly involved in activities that are highly valued by local consumers.

Consumers are known to form strong positive associations with sponsors who support the development of grassroots sport and contribute to the local community. With eight out of ten consumers preferring to believe in what a company does rather than what it says; it’s easy to see why many businesses are choosing to sponsor football clubs like ours as a way of maximising their marketing return.

By directly supporting us, you’re helping to remove economic barriers — making sport affordable and inclusive for all.

The Club Today

Real Holmesdale FC are a Croydon based football club that currently play in the Surry South Eastern Combination Junior Division 5. The club calls the John Ruskin Playing Field home, where they have the use of a small clubhouse.

The team have ambitious plans for expansion including the number of teams they run and improving their current facilities through refurbishment.

Our Club History

Real Holmesdale FC was founded in 2001 by a group of Crystal Palace fans and named after the Holmesdale Road stand at Selhurst Park. In around 2006, some of the original players moved to a larger ground in East London but the remaining team were able to keep the name and stay at the same playing ground.

Fábio Colsoul Oliveira became the club's current first team manger in 2021 and joined the then 'Reserve' team and the first team together to form a larger and more manageable squad.

Fábio is passionate about creating a friendly, inclusive environment which caters for all abilities, which ensures football is enjoyable and which welcomes and involves the whole community. The current club chairman joined the club as a player in 2004, took up his current role as chairman in 2016 and still plays for the Vets' team on Sundays.

Over the years Real Holmesdale FC have experienced many successes including coming runners up several times. They've also won the below cups:

  • 2010/11 - SSEC Intermediate Division 2 Winner (1st Team)
  • 2010/11 - SSEC League Senior Cup Champions (1st Team)
  • 2016/17 - SSEC Junior Division 4 Winner (Reserves)

Aspirations

With membership and crowd attendances rising, Real Holmesdale FC have ambitious plans to continue to develop the infrastructure at the club. They have aspirations to expand and refurbish their facilities, but they'll need the support of funding to do this. Next season they're also keen to expand to form a second senior male team, followed by youth teams the following year and hopefully a women's team too.

Naturally, they want to support their sponsors and build them in to their club on a strategic level — allowing all of their partners to benefit from their ever-improving facilities, expanding audience and their community involvement.
