Why North East Lions FC
North East Lions FC
Established in 2020, North East Lions is a progressive football club with both Saturday and Sunday teams.
We believe in providing an opportunity for people in the local community to take part in football as a focus for their energy and to drive success. Through the drive of our management team, the club is committed to ongoing development and success on and off the field.
We believe sponsorship of our club will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or for the love of the club and game, whatever your motivation. Thank you for visiting our profile.

North East Lions ideals reflect sports core values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. This is demonstrated by the awarding of the FA Charter Standard to the club in May 2021 with its commitments to being well run, adopting the Respect agenda and holding the whole club to a code of conduct.
Whilst we are ambitious, we also have a strong family ethos, derived from a commitment to enabling young people to become involved with the club as a focus for their time and energy.
We aspire to be an integral part of the local community and find our natural level in the football pyramid, being a club known and respected, providing opportunity to support the development of future players. We will support our sponsors and build them in to our club on a strategic level, forming strong, professional relationships with our community.
With a continued desire to push the club forward, our short term aspiration is to gain promotion from the Essex Alliance League’s Premier Division for our Saturday team, and continue to develop and support our player base through representation in the traditional Sunday morning game too.
North East Lions is at the start of its history, but perhaps with the recent times has already experienced more than a lot of challenge with both of its teams having their seasons ended early.
Founded in 2020, the club is run as a not for profit. Any surplus is reinvested in the club to improve equipment and/or facilities, and ensure no player is unable to play.
We have progressed season on season, with the club achieving the FA Charter Standard (soon to be England Club Accredited) in May 2021 which reflects our commitment to diversity, respect, conduct and being well run.
