Glasgow on the Ball

Why Glasgow on the Ball

We are a club with a difference. We are a charitable club set up to raise funds and awareness for sport and development programmes in Africa - every penny we raise from sponsors means more money goes to Africa!
Because of our charitable purposes, we have a lot of goodwill and reach amongst our players and supporters
Equality is at the heart of what we do - we believe sport can be a vehicle for positive change and work to tackle all forms of discrimination within the game

About us:

We are a Sunday league club competing in the Glasgow Community and Cooperative League and raising funds and awareness for Scottish international sports for development charity Africa On The Ball.

We operate as a social enterprise, collecting fees from our members and donating the surpluses once we've paid for the standard costs associated with running a football club. This means the more money we are able to receive from sponsors, the more we are able to donate to Africa on the Ball's work.

We currently have over 50 members across two teams.
