About us:

Field Lane Football Club:

Established in 1982, Field Lane Football Club is one of Derbyshire’s most successful sport clubs.
We believe sponsorship of our club will deliver value based on a marketing investment for
financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or for the love of the club.

Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us:
Audience:

Field Lane FC boasts a growing membership in excess of 1,000. Through our extensive in-person marketing footprint we can provide your business with the opportunity to build brand-loyalty within the Derby area.

Facilities:

We have a long lease hold on the City Council owned park on Field Lane and play all of our home games from U13 upwards as well as holding all of our summer training sessions there. We are currently in discussion with the council to improve our facilities with the prospect of a new clubhouse and changing rooms as well as investment in our playing surfaces.

Digital:

Field Lane FC boasts circa 100,000 media impressions annual across our digital
channels, providing extensive reach and awareness for any of our partners. We provide
integration with these channels and can target specific target audiences based on your
objectives.

The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from but are not
limited to:
 - logo & link on social media posts and websites pages, to an audience of 100,000
annually
 - physical advertisement on club assets, providing exposure and building loyalty with our 1000 members.
 - opportunities to advertise at club events, to an audience wider than our existing
membership base
 - captive audience of club members for exclusive business promotions, driving top-line
sales
 - invites to club events for BD or employee engagement

Alternative/supplementary perks can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of
sponsor commitment, budget and your business objectives.

We are committed to giving you and your company the exposure and promotion you deserve.
We recognise that without your support many of our club members would not be enjoying their
sport at the weekend!

Today:

Throughout the club, Field Lane FC's ideals reflect sports core values of Teamwork, Respect,
Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. And recent market research has overwhelmingly
shown that the club comes across as being warm and friendly, providing good quality sport for
all.

Whilst we are ambitious, we also have a strong family ethos, derived from a commitment to
youth sport for all age groups.  All this is underwritten by a diverse sponsor base, at a variety of different levels, which aids the club’s financial stability and adds value to our audience.

Aspirations:

With membership rising, we have ambitious plans to develop the infrastructure at the club, to include clubhouse and playing surfaces. This will allow Field Lane FC to firstly become a more integral part of the local community and also a destination venue providing sports and leisure facilities to a much wider audience. Naturally, we want to support our sponsors and build them in to our club on a strategic level, allowing any partner to benefit from our ever-improving facilities, expanding audience and our community involvement.

There are huge building developments about to take place at the end of Field Lane with a large new housing estate and school on the horizon so now is the perfect time to align your brand with our club to maximise the potential of this new development and get your name out to our ever expanding catchment area and membership.

On the pitch, the club’s ambition is to build on the progression into the new season. We are
aiming to introduce new teams in the coming years and seek to grow both our players and club.
The growth of the club will subsequently provide our partners with additional exposure through local news outlets and provide greater ROI and awareness through sponsorship of Field Lane FC.

History:

Field Lane FC = 1982 - Present

Field Lane FC was founded in 1982 by ex Derby County Legend and FA Cup Winner Reg Harrison. Following Reg's sad death in 2020. A fundraising appeal was held by the club in conjunction with Rams Heritage trust to erect a statue in Reg's memory. The appeal was supported by names such as Frank Lampard, Mason Mount, Craig Bryson, Curtus Davies and many more allowing us to smash the target and look forward to completing this memorial.

We are proud to have provided football within our community for almost 40 years and have had some great success' along the way. Only last season our U12 and U14 teams were crowned champions of their respective divisions.

Today we play across leagues in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire and are a new Wildcats (girls football) centre for Derby.

The club supports teams from U6 - Adult and are planning on introducing a Womens team for 2021/22

We host probably the highest regarded tournament in Derbyshire on an annual basis attracting over 70 teams from as far away as Manchester, Birmingham and Leicester.
